Description: Due to unforeseen circumstances, we wish to announce that cellist, Tatiana Chernyshova is unable to perform with pianist, Elena Kiseleva at Cooper Hall during the Frome Festival. However, we are very excited that the third member of their Rheinhart Trio, clarinetist Anna Hashimoto has kindly stepped in as a worthy replacement. We are delighted that Anna is able to make the event possible and excited that for the very first time we will get to hear what a solo clarinet sounds like in our space. A world class performer, Anna is much in demand as a soloist and chamber musician. As a soloist Anna has worked with conductors such as Vladimir Ashkenazy, Paul Watkins, Myung-Whun Chung and Jan Latham-Koenig. She has performed chamber music collaborations with artists such as Michael Collins, Leon McCawley and Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, and string quartets such as Endellion, Alberny, Ciurlonis, Kodaly and Prazak Quartets. As a keen orchestral player she has been guest principal with the UK's leading orchestras including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, City of London Sinfonia, London Mozart Players, and Philharmonia, and she's a clarinet tutor at the Birmingham Conservatoire. “Stylish phrasing and a lovely, liquid tone” New York Times www.annahashimoto.com New programme for the event: Schumann Fantasiestucke for clarinet and piano Chopin Mazurka in C-sharp minor op. 53 (piano solo) Reade Victorian Kitchen Garden Suite for clarinet and piano Saint-Saens Sonata for clarinet and piano -interval- Finzi Five Bagatelles for clarinet and piano Bennett Sonatina (clarinet solo) Martinu Sonatina for clarinet and piano Abreu Tico-tico
