Frome Festival could not operate without the close link it has developed with Frome residents over many years. From the first festival in 2001, the Festival was initially designed as a regeneration project for Frome and continues to provide significant benefits for the community who interact with the Festival today.

Many local community groups deliver events as a part of the programme, using the Festival platform to promote and share their activities with other residents.

These community events are at the core of our programme, increasing the engagement of community members as performers, participants and audience members.

As we plan for 2023, we are acutely aware that the cost-of-living crisis will further limit access to the arts for many in our community.

Your donation will help us to ensure that we can continue to engage more people in Frome and beyond, allowing them to experience the immense benefits of experiencing arts activity.
