Frome Festival could not operate without the close link it has developed with Frome residents over many years. From the start in 2001, the Festival was initially designed as a regeneration project for Frome and continues to provide significant benefits for the community who interact with the Festival today.

Now, across a ten-day programme the Festival hosts over 200 events, workshops and activities featuring a broad range of arts and culture in over 40 venues across the town, from concert halls and theatres to churches, pubs and parks.

In order to run the office efficiently and support the small creative team who make the Festival happen, we rely on regular income to ensure we can keep delivering the programme.

Further to this, as we plan for 2024 we are acutely aware that the cost-of-living crisis will further limit access to the arts for many in our community, and we want to ensure we can continue to provide accessible creative activity for all.

Our core team of committed Friends help us do this. We hope you can be one of them.
