The 2023 Frome Festival Short Story Competition is now open. The closing date is May 31st and the entry fee is £8 per story. Stories can be on any theme and in any style, but must be written in English and be between 1000 and 2200 words in length (not including the title).
The competition, in connection with the Frome Writers Collective will also be offering a prize for the best entry by a local young writer aged 16-21 (living or attending school/college in Frome and its villages).
Winners will be announced and prizes awarded on Sunday 16th July.
