Frome Festival is delighted to announce a very special event taking place on Saturday 16th January 2016.

The show will be held as a tribute to Brenda “Fred” Rolfe who died last July shortly after the end of the 2015 Frome Festival. Fred was a stalwart of the Festival and the Friends of Frome Festival and, as Creative Director Martin Dimery said at the time of her death “Fred was a great source of support to me in my first six years as Creative Director giving her time and energy unsparingly to the cause.”

Fred enjoyed life to the full, and was a great lover of the Arts, and to reflect this you can expect a fun-packed and entertaining evening featuring many well-known local acts. We have performances from renowned singer Morag McLaren, The Frukes, Bonne Nouvelle, The Three Corners, The Phoenix Trio, The Christchurch Singers, Crysse Morrison and Rosie Finnegan, and our very own Martin Dimery.

The event will be held at Rook Lane, starting at 7.00pm. Tickets are £10.00, but there is a Special Price for Friends of ONLY £8.00 (all proceeds to charity.) Tickets are on sale now from the Cheese and Grain Box Office (by phone – 01373 455420 – or in person.)

Even if you didn’t know Fred personally, why not come along and join the fun?

Can you think of a better way to recover from Christmas?
