DESCRIPTION:An exquisite fusion of words and music\, Imaginary Landscapes brings together the spellbinding poetry of critically acclaimed author\, performer and raconteur Chris Tutton\, with the semi-improvised brilliance of international harpist\, Tara Minton. \nChris Tutton is the and award-winning author of eight collections of poetry. Coined by Ned Sherrin as “the master of the short poem” his work has also been described as “absolutely beautiful” by Alexander Waugh with Iain Anderson of BBC Scotland noting that it was “philosophy in poetry form” and the Sunday Times commenting on its “dramatic passion and dignity”.\n‘The Failing of Angels’ his extraordinary debut novel was published in 2020 – “I have never read such beautiful writing. I was stunned” Robert Pisani \nTara Minton is an Australian born harpist\, vocalist and composer; proudly endorsed by Camac Harps. Sought after as both a harpist and vocalist\, Tara has worked with Björk\, Eska\, Stan Sulzmann\, The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars\, Opera North\, The Royal Ballet and the Australian World Orchestra\, and appeared at the Royal Albert Hall for the BBC Proms. DESCRIPTION:Join the OpenStoryTellers Wellbeing Group for a unique guided walk designed to nurture your body\, calm your mind\, and leave you feeling connected. Along the way you will experience site-specific movement and poetry inspired by the landscape and the group will guide you through simple wellbeing activities that are suitable for all\, including yoga\, mindfulness activities\, and guided relaxation.\nStep outside\, slow down and reconnect with nature. Leave feeling refreshed\, connected\, and restored.\n\nLocation: Starting and finishing at OpenStoryTellers Hub\, Rise. Walking along the river\, via Henley Way to Welshmill Roundhouse. \n\n\nAccessibility: The walk involves steps down to the river\, please contact OpenStoryTellers to arrange alternative access. \n\nA note on accessibility: The ramp at Henley Way was removed in July 2025 and there is no current plan to replace this due to funding costs. We are very sorry that this Wellbeing Walk is not fully accessible but hope that we can use this to highlight the importance of a ramp being reinstated at Henley Way. Our artists have chosen to use this route because the longer way round via Jenson Button bridge isn’t accessible for them due to length.\n\nHome \n \n  \n
