Balearic London is a party and label by Ariane V, Ben Gomori, Gaucho and Sarahtonin that celebrates the eclectic musical mindset of ’80s Ibiza to the modern dancefloor. In their first year they hosted stages and takeovers at The Cause, Field Maneuvers, Multi Multi, Secret Garden Party and 17 Little Portland Street as well as their own parties at eccentric London spaces Low Profile Studios and Paper Dress Vintage. With a sold out and double-repressed 12″ under their belt and the follow-up selling like hotcakes, their musical manifesto looks set to spread further across the globe across 2025.
Expect Piano house. ‘80s pop dubs and remixes. Italo, kwaito, Latin and global flavours that make you feel like you’re on holiday somewhere by the sea. Sensual sounds. Acid house vocals. Yacht rock. Madchester grooves. Sunsetters and sunrisers. Carefully-timed curveballs. Euphoric freestyle. The dying embers of disco. Street soul. Shifting BPMs. Dubby basslines. Jazz-funk guitar licks. Slick boogie. Dreamhouse. Proto-trance. A sense of freedom, optimism and joy. A break from endless builds and drops. Stuff that makes you dance but isn’t ‘dance music’. A good song is a good song is a good song. Joining the dots between the original Balearic sounds and modern sounds.
This one is not to be missed as we kick off the Festival with a night to remember!
