QUORUM WITH CHARLES WIFFEN
4 July @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
£15
Quorum perform Ravel’s ravishing quartet in F major, followed by Bartok’s piano quintet where they are joined by a regular collaborator, pianist Charles Wiffen. This magnificent work was composed when Bartok was only 22, and combines his Hungarian nationalistic style with his early passion for Richard Strauss. The result is dramatic, exciting, and highly accessible!
