TAPESTRY – TWO WOMEN AND THE STORY OF BAYEUX

8 July @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
£10

Tapestry, Kylie Fitzpatrick’s bestselling novel, is re-released in June 2026 to mark the historic visit to the UK of the Bayeux Tapestry. The novel explores the tapestry’s story through the lives of two women: an embroiderer in 1064 and an academic in 2018. Together, they reveal the history of this most enigmatic artefact.

Frome author, Kylie’s 5 historical novels have been published in 11 languages. She holds Masters and Doctoral degrees in Literature and Creative Writing, is a publishing consultant, and hosts writing events in the UK and internationally. In conversation with Jayne Sadgrove, Chair of the Frome Society, she unwinds the threads of Tapestry.
