The medieval Bayeux Tapestry will travel from France to the British Museum this year. In advance of this momentous loan, Dave will consider how the Bayeux Tapestry has shaped our knowledge of the Norman Conquest and how it continues to exert its influence to this day.

Dr Dave Musgrove is content director of HistoryExtra Magazine and podcast, and co-author of The Story of the Bayeux Tapestry.
